Barcode driver
AnyLabels includes a barcode driver, suitable for use with any keyboard wedge or USB connected barcode scanner. With both AnyLabels databases and ODBC databases the driver allows a record to be displayed, selected, printed or copied when a scanned barcode matches data in a field of the database. With AnyLabels own databases the driver allows records to be added or field contents to be updated with a date/time or a numerical value added to a field.
The Barcode driver is started by selecting Barcode driver from the Records menu. A textbox appears in the menu bar and this receives the scanned data from any barcode scan.
